Beekeeping Experience

$50.00

Get an up-close look at a Showalter Family Farm hive with a guided tour. See the fascinating life inside a working hive! Whether you're curious about pollinators, dream of keeping bees yourself, or just want to suit up and see nature in action, this approximately 1-hour experience offers education, excitement, and plenty of honeybee magic.

🕒 What to Expect: 🔹 15-Minute Introduction & Suit Up: Learn the basics of beekeeping, why bees are essential, and how Corey cares for them. Gear up in a full bee suit—because safety first! 🔹 30-Minute Hive Tour & Deep Dive: Step into the hive with Corey as he guides you through its inner workings, explaining what he’s looking for in the colony, how bees communicate, and their role in pollination and honey production. You’ll get a close look at frames filled with honey, pollen, and hardworking bees! 🔹 15-Minute Wrap-Up & FAQ: Ask questions, chat about what you saw, and learn more about how to support pollinators.

Tours are available based on the season and colony growth, likely May through July.

Contact showalterfamilyfarm@gmail.com or on Facebook with questions and booking requests. Please include number of participants for bookings. Group discounts may be available. We will reach out to determine a tour date and discuss next steps.
